Description

"My researches mainly focus on investigating the roles of diet, lifestyle, biomarkers and genetic factors in the epidemiology of chronic diseases (obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease).

I have worked on several nutritional intervention studies, and large epidemiological studies in China, US and Singapore, including the Nurses’ Health Study, Nurses’ Health Study II, Health Professionals Follow-up Study, and Singapore Chinese Health Study. I am also systematically investigating the inter-relationship between depression and metabolic diseases (obesity, diabetes, heart diseases, stroke and mortality)."
